Leadership

With great enthusiasm, I will serve as your Principal at Bricker Elementary starting with school year 2025-2026.  I began in D2 as a paraprofessional and went on to support students with special needs. I continued my career as a middle school physical education teacher, coached and advised many different clubs, and then moved to the elementary level, serving as a 4th and 5th grade teacher and PE teacher. During this time, I received my master's degree in educational leadership from UCCS and another in Sports Administration from the University of Northern Colorado. I then served as Grant Coordinator, Dean of Teaching, Teaching and Learning Coach, and Assistant Principal in another district in Colorado Springs. This year, I lead and develop students, staff, and the community I serve as the Principal of an Elementary School.

I view education as a lifelong process for everyone involved in the educational system. I am excited to learn about Bricker Elementary School's uniqueness this year and in the years to come. Most importantly, I believe that students are central to all school-related decisions. I am excited to unite my experience, open attitude, and whole-child approach to support all students.

I am honored to accept the position of Principal at Bricker Elementary, where I hope to serve and inspire all I come in contact with. I will bring the Bricker community a welcoming, engaging, collaborative, trusting, and transparent environment. My ultimate goal is to partner with our community, families, staff, and students to create an exceptional elementary school experience for everyone.
